Built in 1888, this 9,000 square foot historic home is minutes away from the historic district in Frederick, Maryland.

Ceresville Mansion has a little bit of something for everyone! When you walk in the front door you are greeted by double parlors. To the left you are greeted by a light and airy ballroom perfect for indoor ceremonies and large wedding receptions. Upstairs holds a large bridal suite and getting ready space, and also a suite for the groom and groomsmen. I loved seeing the groomsmen have a formal getting ready space upstairs! Outdoors there is a garden terrace with a pergola and reflecting pool, a stunning location for outdoor ceremonies and many picture opportunities! The entire property sits on 25 acres along the Monocacy River with mountains nearby.

Every Part of the Grounds of Ceresville Mansion is Breathtaking.

Have you ever seen a wedding venue where every room, space and location on the grounds was just stunning? Are you looking for a venue with a rain plan that still has a warm and merry atmosphere? Ceresville Mansion has you covered! You can have your wedding ceremony outdoors on the garden terrace in front of the gorgeous reflecting pool. There is also an option to have your ceremony in front of the large fireplace in the ballroom in case it rains or the weather doesn’t cooperate. Having an indoor option for your wedding, even if not first choice, should be on your priority list when looking for a venue.

The venue has a terrace and a grand ballroom for your Wedding reception. The terrace with its reflecting pool is a beautifully manicured large space that can seat up to 200 guests with a dance floor and up to 230 guests without a dance floor. The ballroom, with its tall ceilings, light and airy walls and many windows that makes the space feel very large, can seat up to 150 guests with a dance floor. Without a dance floor, the grand ballroom can seat up to 200 guests. The ballroom is surrounded by windows that pour in natural light.

A Getting Ready Suite Upstairs for the Bridal Party AND the Groom and Groomsmen.

On the second floor of Ceresville Mansion you will find the bridal suite and the groom’s suite. With large rooms, tall ceilings and plenty of space, mirrors and windows that let in natural light, you won’t feel crowded getting ready with your wedding party. Your make up artist, hair dresser and photographer will all have plenty of room to move around and not feel like anyone is crowding each other. Having a large space to get ready as a bride with ample natural light is calming. This helps to reduce stress which should be a huge deciding factor when choosing a wedding venue as well as those gorgeous getting ready portraits.

Upstairs in the getting ready suites, there are windows and furniture that fit the era of the historic home. The ballroom with all the natural light pouring in and white walls are a great for indoor portraits and perfectly capturing all those emotional candid moments and guests with their awesome dance moves.

What Else Should You Know?

Ceresville Mansion provides an Event Planner and Day of Coordinator for your wedding. In the event of rain, your Event Planner will help coordinate alternate options if your wedding is outdoors. Catering is Provided on sight by the Venue as well as alcohol, so you only need to worry about finding a Wedding cake or dessert. They allow early access to the Suites and there is plenty of parking for your wedding guests on sight.
